 This is a request for information filed under the Nevada Public Records law, NRS 239.

 1.    Relative to _Bill #  (submit as many as you like however 1 bill only per form)_, I request that you provide me with a copy of all research and resource materials used to draft this Legislative action including but not limited to lobbyist information, other State materials of a similar nature to the item requested, academic or media-related information, statistical or actuarial data, banking or financial data or graph materials, memos or written requests by Legislators, other government entities or the public, along with the names and contact information of the person(s) who actually drafted or participated in the draft of this item.

2.    I request a waiver of all fees for this request since the discloser of the information I seek is not primarily in my commercial interest, and is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the operations or activities of the government, making the disclosure a matter of public interest (NRS 239.001(3), “Any exemption, exception or balancing of interests which limits or restricts access to public books and records by members of the public must be construed narrowly”.

As required by NRS 239.0107, I expect  a reply “Not later than the end of the fifth business day after the date on which the person who has legal custody or control of a public  book or record of a governmental entity receives a written request “ unless any other provision under 239.0107 lawfully applies.

 If you deny any or all of this request, please cite each specific exemption you feel justifies the refusal to release the information and notify me of the appeal procedures available to me under the law.
